Hello Folks (yes, I capitalized it since there’s nothing better than a great crowd ), here are - as promised – the results of the Royal Rumble!

I described the technicalities elsewhere, so let’s just get down to the fights!

Fight No. 1 – Gomez vs. Y’Berion

As we have seen so many times now, the combatants’ respect for our valiant referees seems to be minimal. Watch the two distinguished gentlemen start their fiery battle even before referee Seraphia gave the sign!
The Battle Commences

After the initial pyrokinesis attack on his flabby opponent, Y’Berion tries to close the distance by executing a series of funny hops… not too wise for a master of psionics, if you ask me.
Do the Kangaroo!

Hence this result: Gomez cuts down Master Y’Berion with two quick strikes before he deals out the finishing blow.
End of Fight 1 – the winner: Gomez!
Downfall of a Wise Man

Fight No. 2 – Y’Berion vs. Lee

Instead of staying in the throne room, Lee and Y’Berion prefer to duke it out in the kitchen. They immediately start a beautiful – and extended – distance fight, something that didn’t happen too often up to now.
Kitchen Party

As it turns out, poor Skip was not the only referee to go up in flames. Master Y’Berion decides to let the general be and attacks Syra instead! Quite contrary to Skip, though, Syra is immortal.
New house rule No. 1: if at least one of the combatants is magically active, the ref has to be a God.
Referee Inferno II

Y’Berion’s swampweed-addled mind proves to be his downfall. His attack on the referee enables Lee to skewer the Guru with several arrows.
End of Fight 2 – the winner is: Lee!
Skeet!

Fight No. 3 – Lee vs. Gomez

Now we get to the fight that will decide everything: Lee vs. Gomez! The civilized start of this fight doesn’t hold the least hint of its barbaric end…
A Civilized Start

This fight turns out to be the quickest of them all. Gomez has hit home twice before Lee manages to do so much as blink.
Ouch!

In fact, the fight was over so quickly that I didn’t manage to take more than one combat pic! But I have a very beautiful series of stills from Lee’s execution…
End of Fight 3 – the winner is: Gomez!
A Beautiful Execution

So all you Folks out there who bet on Gomez – even though he was the favourite from the start: you will see a good amount of ore!

For those few who rightly guessed the exact outcome (i.e. Gomez as the winner, Lee as No. 2 and Y’Berion as being outclassed), there’s an additional goodie… a beautiful flower pot!!!

And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, for our Über- Winner Val as the first person who correctly prognosticated the exact outcome, there’s this evening’s special prize…

…Dinner with the Winner!

YAY VAL!!!

Hmm.. too bad - I really hoped Lee would win because he's the only one of those 3 that isn't a looney.

Great fight Jaz,
I thought it was pretty obvious who would win.
A very even fight would be Cor Angar vs. Gomez.

An even better fight would be Mad Cor Kalom vs Gomez and Coristo.

Oh, poor Val, you didn't like the prize (then again, who would have? Stupid me!) ?

Okay, here's the deal, as winner extraordinaire you may pick something else then - any prize you wish !

How about a screenie of Velaya kicking Gomez's butt? That would be cool.
And it is within the realm of fantasy.

Especially for tonight's Queen of Bets, Val, here comes the desired picture:

Velaya having kicked Gomez' butt!

Enjoy!
