Ultima 5 Lazarus - playable demo released
   

Team Lazarus today announced that the long awaited and highly anticipated remake, Ultima V: Lazarus, has released a playable demo to the public. Ultima V: Lazarus is a complete recreation the classic role-playing game Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny, utilizing the Dungeon Siege engine.
<br>This demo is available in English, French, and German, and is fully compatible with both the Mac and PC versions of Dungeon Siege.

<br>Lazarus Alpha Demo 1.0 is a free mod for Dungeon Siege and can be downloaded from the official Ultima V: Lazarus website, at <a href="http://www.u5lazarus.com" target="_blank">http://www.u5lazarus.com</a>.

<br>Although not feature-complete, Lazarus Alpha Demo 1.0 does contain several of the more impressive features which will be appearing in the final release, including:

<br>- Vicious monsters and cunning wizards

For those wondering, it also works with the new Dungeon Seige: Legends of Arrana. Just make sure you start the game with the plain "Dungeon Seige" icon (installed by Legends of Arrania) and not the Legends of Arrania Icon.

So far so good! I always had a good impression of the Lazarus team and applaud them in this significant milestone!

Just finished playing through the demo (had to re-install DS). Worth the time it took for the re-install. Not much there, but I think it's going to be very good when finished.
