If you haven't gotten that far I suggest you read no more.
Ok this bad was pathetic! I felt totally ripped off. I read other messages saying it was hard with him shooting fireballs, hopping off the pedastal.. WTF? Fireballs? For me it just stood there and did nothing.
The Demon Lord guys were quite annoying though. My character is a good Level 36 Fighter/Mage my Str is around 210 and I'm a 6th Circle Water Magician with around 130mana. But I never trained in 2hs so I had rune thingy. The Demon pansies were fast so you couldn't outrun easily and with the casting time for the spell.. They were somewhat hard. But The Sleeper did nothing, so what's up with that? Is there any other way to kill it?
BTW.. I think the ending sucks! They couldn't even bother to make an alternate ending movie for the Mages. Though otherwise the game ruled. |

No sleeper is just sent to place he came from.
You cannot kill him.
These demons were not tough. I used one of 6th cirles runes and it worked fine.
And btw. the end is so opened, your character says: "Barrier is down but for you adventures just began...".
So for killing Sleeper we must wait for Gothic 2...

I think all the fights in the end were rather easy.
And the ending was very dissatisfying. |

That's because the single biggest mistake the design team made was putting way too many stat boosting potions in the last chapter. It shouldn't even be possible to get over 200 strength. I hope they don't make the same mistake in Gothic 2. |

I agree...
I was waiting for some really strong creatures and for final boss and they did not come ...
But good is that it opens doors for Gothic 2.

And hopefully this time - they will take time to perfect the coding and not release such an unstable game. Way too buggy. Reminds me of the beta of Anarchy Online! Crash after Crash. And even when it doesn't crash I cannot play it twice in one windows session even if I exit the game normally my cpu will lock up if I try to reload it without rebooting. Annoying. This game would have hit my personal Top 5 fav games if it weren't for that. |
