Remember you have to be on at least level 5. _________________ =Farseer=

The first time I played I joined the Old Camp. The guard's didn't attribute to me wanting to join, but I always just ignored them when they asked for ore anyways. I just wanted to see Gomez. I joined OC the second time too. "For Gomez!" _________________ His thoughts are whack.

I joined all three camps in parallel. I used the filing system suggested in one of my posts at http://www.rpgdot.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7927. Therefore I can do all three and make the best of the storyline because I do a chapter each. For example by Chapter 4 I had 8000 ore without cheating. Check out the picklock codes for the standing tower and the store room in the old camp to find out how I got rich. _________________ "Natural selection is just an excuse"

Getting ore isn't that hard later in the game. I think I have around 30000 without cheating. It is mostly useless now. _________________ =Moderator of The RPGDot Shadows=

I was going to make a comment on ore but that's diverting from the thread.
I think the Old camp is the easiest storyline, the new camp is the easiest for Armor and the Swamp camp is the best for attaining perfection.
Go to my thread for the ore tip. I'm not trying to nick views though. _________________ "Natural selection is just an excuse"

I joined the Old Camp, mainly because I get a kick out of pressing diggers for ore. Either that or I had no clue about anything when I first started playing and ended up joining the Old Camp by accident.. |

You can press them for ore? I never knew that.
Oh, sorry. You all probably don't remember me. I only posted here a few times, but I am Ceka.
I played through the game once, then I usually just cheated and put monsters in the camps and watched the fights.
I'm playing my second time, as we speak.
Anyway, the first time I joined the OC. Mostly because, after I got the game, I was so amazed by it I didn't care, I just wanted to play. Also I LOVED the Shadow armor. The guard armor, eh.. I just wanted that darn shadow armor! It's purdy... Anyway, I also thought they would get my back in any fights.
Sadly, you don't ally up with people much in Gothic, and when you do it's not a real ally battle. I hope Gothic II works on a more realistic battle system. Well, I mean... I LOVED the battle system, but I would like to see swords swinging and crashing against each other. And maybe shields.. Horses would be cool too...
Oh, and more ally battles. Where you could team up with people, maybe? That would be cool...
Gothic, without a doubt, is my favorite game. Pirahna-Bytes did excellent on it. Especially since they were new at it. Way to go PB! _________________ Knock Knock.

Wowzers, everyone's caught up with Gothic II, and I read there are possible plans for Gothic III... I think I'm going to have a heartattack from over-enjoyment. _________________ Knock Knock.
