Boy, did I screw up or what?

I had LOTS of empty lab flasks ... However, I had NO IDEA that
I would need them later for dragon's hearts, so I used them all to
make healing potions. Now I can't find anyone or anyplace that has
any more lab flasks. I just entered chapter 3 (or 4 ... just fixed the
Eye of Innos) and am supposed to go dragon hunting.

Anyone know where I can get more lab flasks? Also, I've heard
people talk about the old world and the new world .. what's that about?
Thanks ... pormike

Just look around. Normally you will find an empty flask near an alchemist bench.....or chest, or someone with them in inventory. They are not hard to find.

The "old" world is the Valley of Mines (VoM) from G1. Khourinis is the "new" world, and then you have the addon world.

Check the merchants, like Zuris and the alchemist in the harbour quarter and the upper quarter, they will surely have some Lab Water Bottles for sale. Or go to the herb witch, Sagitta, she also sells them.

When talking about G2 without the addon then the New World means Khorinis and the Old World the VoM, these are the names the game gives to the world when generating the savegames for example.
When talking about NotR the New World is mostly Jharkendar, the addonworld, and the Old World is Khorinis in that context.

Whenever you enter a new chapter, most merchants restock or add to their existing stock. Go back to a merchant you visited in the last chapter and you'll see that they have new items for sale. In the New World, Igaraz and Constantino always replenish their lab water bottles with chapter changes, so check them out. Sagitta should have more bottles for sale, too.
