is there anyway that some of these skantly clothed women can be removed from the game???
i know this might not be a very popular opinion, but i would really enjoy the game if atleast the loading screen could just be changed to black or a different background...
any advice or help welcome...even if it takes some editing

Now why in gods name would you wanna do that?Did your wive get jalous for looking at then every 30 minutes?Or do you have a 20 year old son who has never seen a halfnaked woman(It might be)  Well i don't think there's a patch,but maybe there's a setting in the gothic.ini file that can disable that picture,or maybe you can find that picture in the folders and replace it with one of your own pictures. |

are you frickin kidding me? this game, like most rpg's, require you to kill thousands of things to gain xp. all that bloodshed and you are worried about women in thier underwear? ...ok... |

Oh man don't tell me you're gay.See i'm 19 and i know for a fact that there's no way in hell that you don't wanna see halfnaket chicks.Are you trying to become a priest or something?They're allowed to watch i think.Oh and as for the picture,there's nothing you can do if you have no experiance in cracking.I just checked the folders,no way you can just go ahead and change it that easyly. |

The woman at the load screen is done quite well. Everything is left to the imagination. The area maybe I could see is the women in the OC castle. I have a 14yr old son that I wouldn't want him to see this stuff even tho it's all animated.
Remember Leasure Suit Larry? My parents almost took an axe to my PC when they saw that 20 years ago! A setting that goes from fully-clothed to nothing seems reasonable.
Unless your intended audience is 17+. But hey, this was designed in Germany and they are more open to this than here in the US. At least the gore can be set. What a mess. Kinda reminds me of Starship Troopers:-) |

Trust me if a 14 year old kid wants to see naked women he'll see em.And if you guy have any spanish chanell you can see alot of halfnaked women all day.Those spanish guys are loco,they have some woman in a bikini host a show for 6 year old kids.  My dad enjoys those channels alot. Hehe.Oh well there's nothing wrong with a kid looking at women,i did and it didn't harm me.There's alot worse things going on out there.

If all Christians thought that "skantly clothed women were not good" then there were be no more Christians.
I guess the constant killing of animals and even your friends as depicted in the game is a good lesson for a 14 year old. Not to mention all the thieving that is required. Thou shall not kill and Thou shall not steal really don't mean much to you do they.

Who doesn't want to see beautiful women in computer games? You're lucky you see any women at all in Gothic. Aside from the five women in the castle and temple, the whole colony looks like a men's church retreat group!!! And why can't you talk to them? PB could have added a wealth of funny lines as they rejected your pick-up lines or something! |

I never will get to talk to any of the women?
At the beginning my character kept asking about the woman who had been brought into the barrier before him. I was hoping that was part of the plot at some point. |

well..not to be on the unpopular side of things...BUT..
If this guy wants to do away with the women of the game, it's his RIGHT to do that, isn't it?? If I knew a way to do it, i would let him know, for sure..I don't agree with his thoughts..but that's why they are HIS thoughts..not yours, not mine!
Some people feel that cheating is okay, if you want to get the most out of your game, then try cheating to reach unexplored areas. Others feel that cheating wasnt meant to be part of a game at all, or else it wouldn't be required to get to those areas. See my point?? Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean you have to flame them or anything..c'mon guys..
