I am just curious if the monsters respawn or not. I have a level 10 char but i have only just now been allowed access to the central castle in the old camp. I still haven't joined a camp, but i have gone around and salughtered alot of the animal life. I also beat up bullit and took his sword of fear. I've killed off all the black goblins by the new age camp, and offed all of the snappers, biters, wolfs, orc dogs, and single orcs i can lure away.
Have i screwed up my game? or will they respawn later when i get the quests?

Monsters respawn only ONCE in the game, and that is between the transition from chapter 1 to chapter 2. So, you are doing fine. |

Some criters respawn from time to time through the whole game...I think. I'm at level 4 and I know I killed those bloodflies.

thanks for the info. i got bored when i ran out of stuff to kill other than the orcs and shadowbeasts, so i joined the oc, started the mission and got into chapter 2. i was disappointed with the respawn thuogh - only a small percentage of enemies compared to the first time. oh well, i managed to reach level 13 before hitting chapter 2. |

I went around looking at things in the beginning and killed what ever I ran into also…Now I realize that I ruined the game somewhat because I no longer have a lot of opponents to battle on these later quests.

The imporant monsters will always be there when you need them.
I killed all the firelizards, swampsharks, trolls and Shadowbeaste before getting the quest to grab stuff from thoose kinda creatures, and they had been respawned.
I also killed the same troll thrice during the game  In different chapters...
Recomended for lots of xp.
