Nice Armour Conjuration Tip |
|
Well, I discovered this myself, while playing. Please excuse me if this was already posted.
1)Summon the armour you would like to permanently wear.
2)Enter the inventory and take it off, then place it on the ground.
3)Loiter (or rest) for an hour. The armour will still be there, and it will not disappear.
You cannot sell it, but it can be repaired. So far as I can tell, this works for any bound item. _________________ Make good choices. |

Shameless, shameless exploitation. Neat trick though! I'm gonna try that, just to see. And then throw away the item, because it seems like cheating to me. |

True, but my mage was getting wasted with an armour rating of 13, until I boosted it up to 55. _________________ Make good choices. |

I solve that problem by not playing with a mage . Actually, I'm not contesting that it's useful, just that I wouldn't. That's all.
Actually...this works for bound weapons? |

It works for all bound items.
However, afaik you can't just de-equip them. You have to equip another item from your inventory to get the Bound item into your inventory. Then, you can place the item on the ground.
Also, you don't have to wait for an hour. Just wait 60 seconds - or the length of the Bound spell used - then pick up the item. Voila! Permanent Bound items. |

Yes, but 60 seconds in real life is longer than one game hour (just rest). I found it while I was killing off the Council Club. That one 'dude' with the warhammer was even killing me in one hit with my exploit on. So, I summoned 4 guys to block the way down to the cellar and pelted him (off the ceiling) with poison that didn't hurt my crew. _________________ Make good choices. |
