I've killed the 5th Shaman, killed both Apocalyptic (sp?) Templers. I'm at the locked gate with 5 stones and I cannot get him to use his sword in any of the stones to unlock the gate.
How do I get him to use his sword to trigger these stones to unlock the gate? Is there something in this area I'm supposed to do before he will unlock the gate?
Another question is Uzriel's Sword. Xardas gave me the Rune, which I used to kill the Shaman and Templers. He said he returned the sword along with the rune but the sword is not in my inventory.
Does this or will the matter as I'm ending the game soon? With the exception of the Chromiun (sp?) quest. |

the sword should be in your inventory, but it desnt matter as long as you have the rune. To peirce the stones you need to have collected the ancient swords from all 5 of the shamans, simply stand with a stone in focus and "use" it.

I'm still having difficulty getting him to use the 5th stone. I'm positive I have killed all 5 shamans. Need to, to get to this point. I'm postitive I have all 5 swords needed; revenge, wrath, rage, blood, demonic.
He used stones 1 through 4, but will not use a sword on stone 5. Am I missing something?  |

I remember having the same problem when i went thru my first time. I cant remember what i did about it but i do remember running aimlessly, falling into lava several times and reloading a lot

Sometimes one of the shaman swords disappears (--> bug). Check your inventory again. Maybe you have to reinsert it with the console. This is no big deal.
Note that Uriziel doesnŽt count.
You could easily cheat yourself through this gate, but the problem is youŽll need the swords again a few minutes...

u said u didnt do the chromanian stranger quest thingy, is that cause u couldnt find all the books? it took me ages to figure that one out

you asked about the chromanin quest, i wanted to save that for last. i found the first chromanin book earlier on in the game. i'm currently just starting to look for the second.  |

cool well if u want to solve it on ur own dont read my other post about the chromanin quest cause i gave details on how to do it but if u wanna read it u can if ur stuck
