The chests in my tent

Is it safe to stash stuff in the chest in the canopied tent at Old Camp? I have put the letter to the fire mages in there because I kept accidentally opening it when I was trying to view the map!

Will Ore be safe there?

well i never heart of stuff disapreing from chests ..
and if im not wrong u should be able to just drop it on the ground and pick it up later ..

You can open the map without opening your inventory by pushing the M Key.

If you plan on leaving other stuff in those chsts (which you shouldnt need to) then make sure you collect it all bfore you reach chapter 4.
