Help... where is Maar Gan?

The mages Guild has sent me to dispatch some Necromancer in a place called Maar Gan.

The problem is that I can't find any information on where it is. The name hasn't been added to my list of subjects so I can't ask anyone.

Unlike earlier tasks there are no references to Maar Gan in my journal I have searched my map in vain and I just don't know where to go.

It is on the map that came with all versions of the game... it is north-northwest of Ald'ruhn.

Yeah I can't remember who can tell you where it is, but i know you can take a silt strider from Ald-ruhn because it's kindof a nasty hike.
