the game crashes everytime i fight more than three things at once, it just sends me to my desktop and freezes my comp, anyone have a clue?? |

This is likely a sound issue- change Gothic's sound settings and try again.

tried changing some setting but still same thing, the error report that windows gives me includes this file

512 ram
win XP
geforce 2 gts 32
sound blaster live
the error signature it gives me :

Set your sound to DirectSound HW, disable reverb, install patch 1.08k and the Mod-Playerkit. The kit updates Gothicīs sound system.
