Lord of the Rings: The White Council Revealed

<a href="http://www.gamecloud.com/article.php?article_id=2969" target="_blank">GameCloud</a> has picked up on an <a href="http://www.3drealms.com/news/2006/01/the_apogee_legacy_1_jim_norwoo.html#more" target="_blank">interview</a> with 90's Apogee developer Jim Norwood at the 3D Realms site (a good read in itself if you fondly remember 2D scrollers like Bio Menace), where Jim refers to working on a new LotR RPG for EA.

<br>There are no other details at all but I would guess a console release along the lines of LotR: The Third Age is more likely than not.

any bet it's either for xbox360 or just another online game...i've given up hope in ea long ago
