weak charector
   

ok so Ive put up with a lot from this game already but apperently it wont let me beat some monsters until Im stronger...but Im already level 7 and my charector still has the 10 strength he started with. is this supposed to be? at what point if any will he become stronger?

You have to train your strength (and other attributes). To do this, visit one of the trainers (for example, Diego or Thorus). You'll get dialogue options which will allow you to raise attributes and/or skills.
