Backdoor to temple issue

I searched but only found one other with this problem and the single reply posted wasn't any help. I didn't think the Ylsides were that bad. I separated them and killed them off (all that I've found, that is). I'm unable to get back across the bridge in the temple. I went back to the switches in the golem room and threw them all thinking I'd just do the puzzle again. I can't get the bridge to work. So I went back to the goblin prison level and tried to open the back door. A previous post stated that it only works if you have used it. That's the way I left the temple after fighting the demon (damn goblin lord darted out the door and attacked me as well...the fool). The backdoor to the temple will not open. Any clues? What am I doing wrong with the switches that control the bridge? I'm missing something.

Good grief. Uh, forget it. I simply tried to walk across the bridge and did. I thought the stone slabs came out of the walls and allowed me to cross. Nope, that's not the case at all. Duh.

You know, if you delete all your posts one at a time until you only have one left in this thread, when you delete the first post, the whole thread is deleted
