Picks?

Arrr. I've completed all the 'respect' quests except Dexters one. (Diego says I have enough, but I wanna make sure, and I'm already in the sect camp to get the recipe)

While Kaloms not looking i go to pick the chest --- instead of kneeling down, my charecter just keeps shrugging. Do I need a pick? If so, where can I get some?

Also, is there any way to get armor at a reasonable price? I've seen some for 500 ore... Where in the world am I suppoused to get that?

Trade something you have for lockpicks... there are 2 merchants in the OC, 2 in the NC and 1 on the SC (i don't want to tell you where... search and find them, it's easy)
however you can find also some picks in unlocked chests around the colony... you really need only 1 pick. Save before trying to open a chest... write down the exact code and reload if your pick brokes...

ive never seen them. Ive only seen them in the new camp. the old mine, and the old camp. but if you have done EVERY quest but this one then you can still join the old camp. id do it just for the experiance though.

and do all the opening quests for the new and sect camps too. It maxxes your total experiance and then you make a save game called "THE CHOICE" therefor you can reload and join ANY camp you want! pretty ticky huh?

My opinion is that don't bother buying any armor in chapter 1.

Just go to the Free Mine. Follow to the pathway next to the cave entrance of the NC. Ask Swiney for a free armor.

If you only have one picklock it takes time to load and stuff so I will tell you the code:

right
left
left
right

I said this because you seem a little lazy.
