Amusing stories...

Two things happened to me while playing tonight that I thought warranted sharing. At least I was very amused by it...

First, I had picked up a magical helm from a tomb and when in town, I sold it. After finishing and exiting the npc dialouge window, I noticed the vendor was wearing the helm I just sold him! I went back into the barter window for him and he didn't have it for sell. I guess he really liked it!!

Second, I was at the ruins near Hla Oad and entered in and came into a room where two orcs were. One was a fighter type and the other a mage. First time in, I got spanked, so when I reloaded, my plan was to try to draw one out. Well the area is partly submerged in water, so after getting the baddies after me, I had to swim back through a bit to get to an area to fight. The fighter chased me through to the other side and I dealt with her and then rested. Afterwards, I head back in for the other guy, only he wasn't there. I made several trips back and forth thinking he might have ducked into a side passage or something. Then on the way back in, swimming through the submerged area, I noticed him floating near the surface! He got stuck and drowned apparently! I know that may not seem like big deal and may even be considered a bug, but I found it funny and kinda cool.

I had this extravagant gold robe with red embroidery on it which I thought I looked extremely smart in. Every now and then I would go into third person view just to admire my stylish self. So one day I'm talking to this mage enchantriss. When I'm done talking I turn to leave and realize that she's wearing the same robe I am. Being in 1st person view, I didn't give it much though and went on my way. Later on while looking at my inventory, I saw that I no longer owned a beautifully embroidered gold robe. A quick third person view check and sure as shit I looked like a commoner again. When I put 2&2 together I concluded that that bitch was so skilled in thievery she robbed the clothes right off my back... and had the nerve to don the apparell right in front of me.
I'll say one thing though, she has good taste.

I posted this a few hours ago as a guest (dunno why i wasnt logged)

We've all heard those sounds off a ring dropping or footsteps right behind you and actually theres nothing. I've learn to live with them to some extent, but they occasionally still alert me to look for the cause.

I was walking along a road & admiring the scenery and the stars (it was a beatiful night), when i noticed someone laying dead on the roadside. Decided to take a closer look i walked to the corpse and just before i click to see what it carried -WSHISH- like hundreds of swords being readied allmost simultaneously. Needless to say i allmost had a stroke...

Turned out to be a sound glitch, but i'd live my life happily ever after if it would never reproduce itself
