Fighting Dragons as a mage. |
|
Anyone have any tips for me for fighting dragons in Chapter 4? I'm playing NOTR and those Dragons are HARD! What spells are effective against them?
Can you hurt them when they're invisible?
Also, is it worth learning how to remove Dragon scales and collect Dragon blood
as a Mage? What are those things good for? |

I assume you have the eye of innos? i think it must be necessary to get to chapter 4.
I suggest trying spells that negate the elements of the dragons. Fire for the ice dragon, ice for the fire dragon etc. Kill undead for the undead dragon and so forth. I don't remember them being invisible so i can't help you there. You may need to buy all the scrolls and use them...then if you find one that works go create a rune for it.

As mage I always summon a skeleton to keep the dragon busy.
Then I use my large fire ball rune to take the dragons down. It take takes about 4 of them fully charged to kill a VoM dragon. |

The problem with summoning skeletons though, is that if there's Dragon Hunters helping you, sometimes the skeletons and Dragon Hunters will attack each other. |

Just don't summon the skeleton then, dummy.
Those 2 dragon hunters will kill the swamp dragon themselves, you don't need to help at all.
If you really want a sitback live when killing the other dragons, summon a demon, those do the job all by themselves. |

yep they really do :p.
1 demon took out Dexxter and the bandits all by himself..There is hardly any foe(besides paladins) in the game, who can stand against demon.. _________________ The focused mind can pierce through stone |

You must be playing G2 without NOTR. The Swamp Dragon wiped out those 2 Dragon Hunters pretty easily in my game. |

Yes, you are right. I didn't think about it being NOTR. My mistake.
Sorry about me calling you dummy. |

Right now my strongest spells are Ice lance, Thunderstorm, Large Fireball, and Lightning(large). I also have Geyser but it seems useless. Maybe I'm using it wrong?
Anyone know what the best spell you can get from Beliars Claw is? I'm using Root right now. |
