Weaponsmithing?
   

I recently found the smith in the old camp and found out I can make blades, but can I make weapons? Do I need to create a hilt? Can only one type of weapon be created? Anything you can tell me about weapon crafting would be appreciated.

You can only make one sort of sword.
The smithy will tell you what to do. As far as I remember the order is fire - anvil - water - grindstone.
