I found the gearwheel for the broken ore machine in chapter 1 already and kept it. In Chapter two where you have to give it to Ian, it disappeared from my inventory and it is no longer where i found it.
I searched everywhere in the mine, nothing.
Please help..... |

Sounds like you are screwed, unless you cheat the item back into your inventory. |

I got it in Chapter 1 and it was still there in Chapter 2. My guess is that you accidentially gave it to a merchant when you were doing other trading... It doesn't have any value, so they SHOULD just give it back to you for nothing if you figure out who has it. |

I do not think, that it just desapeare. You probably sold it. So get it back...

I went to about every merchant in each town, but with no luck. I finally had to re-play a saved game where i still had the blasted thing..... frustration.....!! |

Of course itīs frustrating. Unfortunately there is simply no known insert cheat for the gearwheel. |
