How about the Ravenloft books?

anyone here read the ravenloft series?
Ive only read a few but in those few i have founded one of my fave characters of all time ... Strahd Von Zarovich, the vampire lord of Barovia.
the first book of the series I read was I strahd: The war against Azalin and in reading it first i developed an attachment to the character ... now i wont read the books hes considered a villian in... In my eyes The Lich, And Strahd's nemesis Azalin. Is the traitor, turning on Strahd and waging war through his soldiers ... the everlasting battle has stolen me for many hours away to the lands of the mists. Great books ... even the ones where Strahd is the enemy... Ive enjoyed books such as:

The Vampire of the Mists, The Lord of the Necorpolis, I Strahd (the war) and I Strahd (Memoirs), Along with the Knight of the Blackrose, along with many others. A wonderful change from the dragonic storys of the Forgotten Realms and a devious look into the Gothic world of Ravenloft.

The ones you listed were pretty good. I liked the I, Strahd series and I'm always cheered to see Lord Soth in a book.

The others in the series usually had me wishing for a happy ending... just once... but were solidly written for the most part. Not a bad series overall.
