problem with graphics

I would like to know if anyone could help with my problem. After I installed Gothic and I tried to play the screen is a tan color and all you see is the feet of the character. You can hear talking but you can't see anything. The beginning scenes play fine. It is just the play that is screwed up.

Mine did that too. Find out what graphics card you have, and download the newest driver for it. That did the trick for me.

No man, I think it is a setting in your graphics card. I am not at my computer so somebody help me out if I've got this all wrong...Right click on your desktop and go to properties. You probably have an Nvidia card if I am understanding your problem correctly so go to the tab that has the options for your card and check (or is it uncheck?) the box that has something about enabling fog table emulation or something like that. That should do the trick.
