I started this thread by asking about unimportant things (storywise), and I still don't understand how I could overlook this Slip-machine in the kings appartment in the Rapax castle, as when you play the game beyound the second time You want to find every secret the games content. There were many unanswered questions the first time I played through the game, and through my last try, I guess I've got answers to all my previous questions and found many more secrets than the first time around. The most vicious secrets to find was (without cheating almost):
- Get entrance to the retro dungeons (Problem was:Which weapons to use?)
- Get the peace contract between the T'rangs and Umpani's (Problem was: Don't finalize the two quests which demands destruction on the other side.)
- Get a Quest from the Priests in Arnika (Problem was: Using the right conversation topic).
- Get a quest from the Higardi (who think you are Martin) (Problem was: Again finding the right topic in the conversation)
- Get a lot more main-side story info: ( Problem was: Finding the right trigger words for every NPC you meet, actually every NPC, got a lot of answers to many different topics, also many you don't expect them to have.)
- Meeting the T'rangs/Umpani at ascension peek: (Problem was: The way you had to solve the issues in ascension peek, and finding the (very) not obvious meeting place. Well no big deal they just send you along anyway!
- Getting the different character NPC's to Ascension peek did make some minor differences in the endings (Problem Was: To get them all along, but solved through teleporting.)
- Getting the treasure in the rapax trasure room (Problem was: The access was from a level above, where the trapdoor was very hard to find!)
- Finding all ingredienses to all custom items (Problem was: It's a big world and some of the items were unique.
- Getting 3 quests out of the thief in Arnika. (Problem was: To solve second quest so he accepted it as solved, and his delay in giving you the third quest.)
- To get around the spying T'rang-supporter who made the T'rangs hostile against you. (Problem was: It did not always help to pay the barkeeper in Arnika to shut up, or don't visit the bar at the Umpani's. But the "give item before conversation" action solved the problem.
-To trigger the away rapax-camp in the wilderness clearing (Problem was: You needed at least 2 artifacts?????).
And much much more I can't recall them all any more as it's about a month ago now since I deleted the game from my harddrive. I just wanted to say that this game had so many "discover it yourself" issues, and that's one of the important reasons I liked this game so much. _________________ Moderator on RPGdot.com Forum.

Perhaps some vague details? I don't think I've done these.

I've always thought (and heard) that they don't show up regardless. Details?

When several people couldn't access the room, it was checked with a cheat-trainer that allowed you to place your party anywhere. The room had no floor. The chests didn't exist. Nothing. I'm REALLY curious about this one. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

That last one is the same as the Deposti Slips. You can't get in the room, but you can get all the stuff out with the slips. (the thing is like a drive-through teller).
Braffit wants you to find Anselm.
(forgot his name) at HLL gives a few more clues about Marten.
As to the T'rang being hostile, you can expose Kunar as the spy he is, AND pay off He'li; then the T'rang stay green.
Mindread helps you find out about all these things. _________________ If thousand-year-old family traditions are so important to you, why do you have indoor plumbing and electricity in your family's house? |
