At the end of the match I was feeling ashamed to have to watch such a team play. What a game... France totally deserve to be out.
We played very poorly. It wasnt even a "B" team but more like a "C" team.
Of course we got cursed till the end with 2 poles. In this WC we hit the poles 5 times and 0 goal. Great.... I just hope France will learn from it and filter the good players from the not so good ones anymore. _________________ France national football team: let's construct a REAL team... |

Don't be so sad StarFox, it's the natural passing of times. There are a lot of players that played also the WC in '98 and they are now old... your coach haven't had the courage to put togheter a more young team (with Cisse. Makelele, and others...) and trust more the experience... i've watched the Under 21 and i've seen very good young French players! _________________ =Member of the NonFlamers' Guild=

sorry to disappoint you Michael but you still have 4 more games to win to be the champions *chuckles*
And although it is true that Denmark played well against france you only won against a crappy team _________________ France national football team: let's construct a REAL team... |

Congratulation to both Denmark and Senegal. Uruguay has at least played the best and showed their true form even though it was too late. |

We (Danes) treat every victory, like winning the "Grande finale".
Sure we had our luck against France, but I also think that the Danish team had their credit for the minor good French performance. We had two chances and scores on both. The French had 6 big chances with zero scores. Okay we were lucky in some of the situations (very lucky), but I want to give much credit to our excellent goal-keeper.
Bets on todays other games:
Cameroun - Germany 2-1
Saudi - Ireland 0-2 |

I wish all the third place team will show the best and not give up. Everything is possible. Senegal is real close from losing it. |
