| Fighter Guild Quest Bugged |
|
I'm trying to finish the first quest as a member of the Fighters Guild..the one that sends you to kill the cave rats in the woman's house in Balmora. The only problem is that after talking to her about the rats and killing the one in her bedroom..I take the key she gives me, go upstairs to the storage room...and no rats (should be 2 more in this room). No rats to kill, so I can't finish the quest. Help!! |

Hmmm...I'm wondering if it might have been caused by the Balmora House mod....cause in the mod there are 2 cave rats in the house the first time you enter it....and I did install and use the mod. |

not sure, but the ones in the mod are normal rats, not cave rats - and yes, i had the mod installed, too, when I did the quest - no probs whatsoever.

I hope there's some way around this bug..cause all my saved games are after the point where I entered the mod house...so no way to go back except start over. I wonder if killing her will work (hehe)..... |

I had this exact same problem. The solution is to talk to her once you're done, scroll through the dialogue options and click something like 'cave rats'. Failing that, click every single dialogue option til something gives, but I'm pretty sure it's 'cave rats.' |
