| trouble in the temple of illusions |
|
shot space between sword and sceptre. heard sound normally accompanying journal or map update, but can find any idol.
solved second part. got fake idol.
killed attacking invisible man. walk through mirror and activated lever, but cannot go through wall on either side. Still hear the guy moaning.
what am I missing. |

Did you open the chest in the other room after shooting arrow? |

Also, go back through mirror and keep walking, the hiddenpassage is in the first room.

My Bad. I figured it out the next time I sarted over at the entrance to the temple. I got bored and decided to whipe out all the goblins and trolls.
Now I'm stuck trying to get back to the meteor without getting whacked by the speedy guards. Any input? |

I have the first serpent, but cannot proceed further because I don't know which leaver to pull.
I understand that all but one lever are illusions - so what, the program dos,nt know that (or the Poxy Helmet and Reveal spells are rubbish)

You need to be close the the levers to make the reveal spell work. |

i am having a problem in that upon placing the golden snake into the bowl, a sound happens and the stone signs around the bowl change, but the ring does not appear.
could this be related to the fact that i'm doing this quest too early?

I am at the temple of illusions, I read that I need to shoot an arrow at the spot where the sword touches the serpent. However I am a pure magic user and only have 18 in projectile. The bow I could buy from the blacksmith requires 30 in projectile. Is there something else I can do to open this? Another bow without a projectile limit? |

Cast fireball or even that simpler spell (magic missile I think?) instead. It works... |

Are you using the Real Snake or the Fake Snake? The Real one is in a chest in the room behind the picture you shoot. |
