i wasnt sure weather to put this on gothic-general or here.... but i downloaded the gothic player kit and the gothic mod visigothic...from this website.... and when i installed them there is this weird popup asking me to install a live chat program. i cant find any files that are out of place, unless im not looking for the right thing.... this has never happened before, and never occured until after i installed the visigothic and the player kit, and i normally wouldnt mind BUT IT KEEPS POPPING UP!!!!!! and i cant play visigothic until i wait 5 minutes for it to pop up....... then i have to close it down and THEN i can play my game.... do you guys know whats going on and how i can stop it? |

Strange. The files still have the correct date and size, so I doubt they´re corrupted.
Could you make a screenshot of this pop-up? You should also scan your system for viri, spyware, etc. |

You might have downloaded one of those nasty autodialers involuntarily somewhere along the way. Better be sure to get rid of it or your phone bill might be really astronomical.

Easiest way is to use the "Print Screen" key & then paste that into a graphics program such as paint shop.
Another way is to download a screen shot tool. Try http://www.tucows.com and look under graphics.
