What was your level? What day in the game was it?
I was like, level 40, and it was day 300 something.  |

WHY?
It's much more fun to roleplay it out 
I'm on about day 300 and am only level 25. I haven't even gone to the Urshilaku camp for the first time yet. But I have a 3rd level Telvanni stronghold  .
Now if I could just figure out how to get some slaves to stay where I want them.... |

level 30 around 150 days. gonna start again coz I only finished full mage and fighting guild quests. tip to all others, do main quest last! |

Hmm...I don't wanna comment more as I don't wanna spoil it, but if you find the right weapons, there isn't much that can kill you.
I can take down a Golden Saint in one or two swings. I have a sword that does 60 damage. My Longsword skill is 100.
And no cheating. Seriously.

Same here... the deadric dai-katana and longsword makes 60 damage... |

I was level 52 (Redguard Knight) and unbeatable at that time. I had most major skills at 100. |

I beat it with my vampire at level 6, but I've beaten it another two times with my level 22 Nord Warrior and then I beat it with my level 25 Spellsword. My spellsword was probably the funnest character I have created as of yet. It's fun to cast a jump spell, leap into the air above your enemies and throw down a huge AOE fireball  My vampire was horribly overpowered though. Since he was Quarra he had a +60 H2H bonus out of the box which made it 90 since I had spent a few bucks to increase it before I turned vamp. So basically every damn creature in the game I'd knock out in about one hit and once it was down I would kill everything in one hit, including Dagoth Ur who fell in 3 hits during both incarnations... I think he hit me once both times. N'wah!
