First of I loved every minute I played of this game, it's remarkable!!!
THe only gripe I have was the stablity of the game once I reached the Xardas in the Sleepers temple, it kept locking up crashing and almost ruined the experience for me , but it didn't this was an AWESOME adventure
About the End why are peeps saying it's bad? I mean it leaves such a huge opening for a second chapter , I bet you guys didn't complain the way the Lord of the rings ended , maybe now he'll take on the peeps who sent him to the colony in the first place heheh
For now I have Darkstone, Wizards & Warriors and Eveil Islands to play these will keep me busy till Morrowind, and then that will keep me busy till Gothic 2 (I hope) heheh
on a side note the Sleeper can't be beat, my goodness imagined if he was set free, geez Cor Kalom is a maniac
anyhoo LOVED IT!! |

That LoTR ending was retarded(ironically, it was abrupt).
Even though its a trilogy, the movie ends as if there is a scene after the fade. |

Yeah. But I was worked up about starwars, and each had independent closures.
I also watch A LOT of anime. So mabe I'm looking for the standard.

getting back to the actual topic, i honestly feel that the ending to gothic didnt make any sense. ok, you banish the sleeper, then your character goes on to say that he awakens to the light (something like that) and that the barrier has dropped. WTF? what did the sleeper have to do with the barrier? it gives no mention to the barrier being destroyed or anything like that, it just mysteriously disappears? not to mention the entire reason he was placed into the barrier was because he was a criminal, what does the king have to say about all this? |

I thought you would have to use each sword against some 5 headed beast (hehe)
or I thought the s**t would hit the fan once you did the 5 thingys, and it would be free

I thought it would weaken him to the point where I could fight him. So I insert the final sword all ready for the epic battle to end all battles...and well...oh well, it was a great game. And I also could have had a better explaination of how the sleeper affected the barrier. And I would have like to have been able to talk to Xardas one more time.
