| Need help......The Eye of Power |

Can someone help me...I'm stuck.
I just killed the Black Mage in the halls of Indr.... You know 
I got the Eye of Power and the scroll from the black mage.
But now I don't know what to do or where to go.
There is this big dark gate with some kind of face on it, but I can do nothing with either the Eye of Power or the mage's scroll.
What do I do?????

With the eye of power in my inventory, all i had to do was click on the door and it opened. Is your Eye of Innos charged? Perhaps that is why the door isn't opening. If your eye of Innos isn't charged, there is a small bedroom nearby with an alchemy table where you can charge it.

My Eye of Innos is charged.....
And I have triede clicking on the door, reading the scroll, using the Eye of Power etc.

The eye of power is not on the mage himself, it's a 'stone' in a chest in one of the rooms nearby. |

I did it
I found out that if you stand too close to the door, it won't work.
You have to stand in line of the "fire things" (those in front the statues)
