I live in Holland..waiting sooo freaking damn long for the full game...i played the demo to death..we were promised a november release...the end of december is kinda near..and the game is nowhere to be seen in Holland...no shop has..what the fuck's up with that? |

It's not only Holland, I think the whole of Europe (not the German speaking part) is waiting for it! I wonder if they've cancelled the European release? |

Nah,...i don't think it's cancelled...a shop here in holland called dimension plus has a website and the expected release there is 27 December..we'll see....fortunately i have enough games to keep me busy...commandos2,ghost recon etc...

can't you just order and english version or german version off of amazon or something?

get those damn extra costs..because it goes trough the border..and believe me..it will be expensive then. |

I live in Finland and gothic is not in here yet, I think it never will...And yes the boarding cost is @50$, I don't want to pay it. |

Well you know what? i found someone on a forum that has the game...because of these things...they make you go d/l stuff..ya know..and i don't feel sorry for it at all..
the damn thing won't arrive here...FINE i'll just get it from something else..simple as that...i had enough money saved to buy the game but for some reason the freaking game can't get released here...

If you can speak German think about buying a German version. Gothic is on budget here. |

I'm also a little confused on this one; on the official site of Gothic, you can find this statement:
"Xicat will publish GOTHIC in the following territories:
North America, France, Benelux, Scandinavia, England, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and Korea
Releasedates will be announced by XiCat"
But that announcement of the relasedate is still Q4 2001. So I'll wait a little longer, I'm not in a hurry, as I've played the German version several times!

I was looking all over too and finally found a store in Europe (UK) that has it:

If you don't mind ordering over the 'net they seem pretty nice.
It is my first order ever with them,so I can't really say anything about the service.(but I got a mail the day after I ordered that they had shipped...) |
