Someone mentioned a "Modkit"? Where can I download that? I know for a fact that my monster gaming system could easily run Gothic at 40 fps or more. I am getting sick of the way Gothic is purposely locked at 20 fps. What were the developers thinking? |

b) If your system could handle 40fps _constantly_ it would deliver them!
c)20 fps is the lower limit, not the upper.
d)you could have posted in the other thread instead of opening a new one.

To clarify this:
The answer to the anonymous poster was very short because most of this was explained in another thread some minutes earlier. If you want longer answers feel free to click on the search button above.
The Mod-Kit is exactly where I said, in the tools section of the site mentioned above. Direct linking to the files would have been canibalisation of bandwidth, so you have to identify the files on your own.
The two necessary files for the Gothic Mod Kit are quite obvious. All documentation is in German.

This is not the same anonymous as the first poster. I was wondering if anybody would be so kind as to list step by step how to use the modkit to change the min/max fps in Gothic.
