Entry into crypt???

I can't find the head guard to receive the key. I've already beaten the game once but this time he's nowhere to be found. Not in the barracks or anywhere in Arx, I've looked in every room. Is there a character spawning code? Where else could he be???

maybe your timing isn't right. I couldn't find him early, and later he's arrested. Usually, he's just walking about. You can always pick the lock if you have the skill.

Corwin is right. I found him locked in the prison after the King found out he killed the Queen. It could be a bug. Depends on where you are in the story.
