Gothic 2 NPC's

Are NPC's in gothic 2, just likie NPC's in the first Gothic? I mean, are half of them just peasants and rogues, or whatever, or do they all have names now? Also, do they all say different things?

I'd say the ratio of names to no-names has increased in Gothic 2. Still, there are plenty of citizens/merceneries/men-at-arms/novices/paladins, but all the dragon hunters and mages have names.

Well many of the NPCs have the same attributes. Even if they are named or un-named. Some are the same until you have a quest involving them or they have an offset to say something to you at a certain point in the game.

Not true. The dead ones haven't

IMO, there are enough NPC's with names. Only their dialogue should be a little bit larger. I heard the addon changed it for a few so...
