there's one problem:

In Wizardry 8 the MIX of characters is important. If you want to play the 6 most popular classes/races combinations, there's a good chance that this party will fail.

But you can always try - every party is playable

i like this party:

dwarf valkyrie
felpurr samurai
faerie ninja
felpurr bard
mook bishop
dracon alchemist

I'll give you two choices, depending on whether you've already won the game or this is your first attempt.

My "rookie" party:
Lizard fighter
Human monk
Mook ranger
Faerie mage
Rawulf priest
Human bard
Other than the ranger's race, this is the party I first won with.

My "fun to try" party:
Gnome bishop (alch/wiz)
Elf bishop (div/psi)
Hobbit gadgeteer
Faerie ninja (gotta get CoC)
Felpurr samurai
Dracon lord
Probably the three hardest classes to develop (bishop, ninja, lord)

If you want to make it interesting, try this Party of Three: Mook Ranger, Felpurr Bard, Rawulf Lord.
If that's too few, just add a Hobbit Bishop and/or Faerie Ninja.
There's a thread somewhere about using a caster or Bard for Hasting the party, i really like to use this.
