Need help from a "New Camper"

I am writing a FAQ for this game,
a very detailed one.

I would like any that have played this game in the "New Camp" to fill me out on the following:

Butch
Does this character do anything to you if you join the New Camp? Wedge says he harrass newcomers, but to me as independent or Old Camper he just tells to take a hike.

Bruce
Does bruce play any particular role in this game?

Orik
Does Orik play any particular role in this game?

Jacko & the Weed mixers
Does theese individuals play any particular role to you if you you are a New Camper? (I know that they are involved in a Sect-Camp quest).

Quentin
Does Quentin and his gang play any particular role to you if you you are a New Camper?

Thorlof
Does Thorlof play any particular role in this game?

Blade
Does Blade play any particular role in this game?
