NWN 2: Screens @ NWN2News

I'm not sure if PC Gamer UK will allow these to stay up but NWN2News has some NWN2 screens taken from a cover DVD. You'll need to register to view them.

The guy not only has the gall to literally steal screenshots off a cover disc (after the PC Gamer fiasco, to boot!), but then also goes and stamps them with that huge mark of his site... unbelievable. Stupid, megalomaniacal, or both?

Obsidian is responding to comments from the site on their forums, so I don't think this is a big deal.

New, fresh screenshots and concept art @ nwn2news!
Those are in engine screenshots from our model viewer. So, with the same lighting, those models should look the same when playing the game. My favorite is the bone spider.

I should also note that Rhomal used to be the main moderator on the NWN/NWN2 forums until very recently. He left on his own accord and it was a very ammicable departure.

Rhomal is also a regular contributor to RPGDot. This may not justify any inpropriety on his part but it may just be perceived and not an actual problem.

I debated whether to post this and I'm still not sure I should have (we didn't post the previous mag scans). The posts from Obsidian swayed me to some extent but I am wary of supporting ripped content.

I have conversed with Rhomal on several occasions and he runs a very useful site for the NWN2 community. I strongly disagree with taking copyright content and marking it as your own - whether that applies to these screens or not I don't know, which is why I said I am "wary"...but it isn't an accusation and having posted a link myself, I can't point fingers other than saying I debated the issue before posting the newsbit.
