Tools of the Trade- What is your fav wep, or Spell

If I play a game and it has the option of playing a mage, im there. In Gothic I really liked the Ball Ligthing spell. Shockem and paralyzem, then cookem to a crisp.

Does any body know of the new spells? I have heared rumors that there is about 50 total?

To quote myself:

quote:
There will be 47 different spells, old and new ones, with improved speed and effects; there will be a spell 'transform into sheep', for example, while another spell will enable the hero to shrink human enemies. Other spells include 'Forget' or 'summon goblin skeleton' (the thing is sweet !)

That's all I know right now... we'll see the whole range of spells soon enough .

Thanks for the info. Jaz

Can't wait for Gothic 2 to be released in the usa . I hope some of those new spells will be runes you can keep. Yeah!
I really like the idea of a spell to shrink humans. That will give a real advantage against multiple enemies. Run you little people run! hahaha!

The highest circles have the best spells. An unfortunate drawback of the Gothic system.

But if I say that my favorite spell was Wave of Death, I would probably trash the point of this thread...

So I just mention that my favorite combo was Wave of Ice + Storm Fist against Snappers... It quickly dropped up to 3-4 snappers in a few seconds...

Best Regards
JemyM

This might sound a bit odd, but I allways liked The Executor. Not that I'm a warrior type of guy.. Every single time I played Gothic, no metter what gulid, I stayed with my old pall - The Executor - for quite a while before switching to 2 handed weaponery.
It is a known fact that the looks of the weapon doesn' t really metter for the game, but I had this one favourite, for an unknown reason.
Sure hope for some cool looking weaponery in gothic 2

I liked Guard's hand the most and a nice big bow. I didn't like uriziel very much because im a magician type so wave of death was the best.

Myself i liked the Berserker's Sword, the design is nice i used it threw till the end where u get Uriziel

As for Spell, i'd agree on ball lighting, shock em then fry em, but in the end, i'd have to say pyrokinesis , sure u have to be close to the person, but others just dont seem to notice you doing it cause , i could walk up to a guard fry his ass, and the other wouldn't even notice,

Question on control, what was it supposed to do i never found a use for it the character just seemed to get pisssed and when i stoped using it they'd try and kick my ass
