I understand that bethesda wants to release a bug free x-box version. I also understand that these bugs must be found through the consumer use of the pc version of morrowind, but as far as i am concerned it is about crunch time for bethesda(anyone else think so?)
my question is: Does anyone know what major bugs they are trying to fix(or would anyone like to take a guess)

I think Morrowind is selling well enough on the PC that releasing it for X-Box will be icing on the cake for their bankers. Since you can't fix it after you release it for a console system it's much better to have fans annoyed that they're waiting over fans stark raving pissed because they have to send the game back because it won't work propery on their X-Box. And pissed off publishers because they have to recall and redistribute thousands of copies.
The only people putting a rush on the X-Box version would help would be the media manufacturers... who get to chortle maniacally as Bethesda and its partner shell out more and more money to keep republishing the game until it works correctly.
As for what bugs... there are some video glitches being reported on GF3s. Since that's what an X-Box uses exclusively it seems a good place to start. Broken quest scripting and getting 'stuck' on objects needs to be addressed as well. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

It continues to baffle me that even the pre-order form on the Bethesda website lists the expected release date for the X-Box version as May, 2002. For the number of glitches and concerns that people keep having with the PC version (which I realize is not an excessively large number but any number is too large for a non-repairable game) I find it hard believe that Bethesda still expects to get the X-Box version out later this month. It'd be nice if they could come up with an honest and realistic date and not keep making customers mad by pushing back the date time and time again. Maybe it's just my jealousy getting the better of me.
