| Chapter 2, Mage, Fireball spell scroll |
|
I started Chapter 2 and bought up all the fireball spells available to use on the orc shammans. Now that I finally leveled up and can advance to Circle 2 I don't have a fireball scroll to make that rune.
Is there anyone in the old camp that sells scrolls? The fellow in the library is out of them. So is the guy at the shrine. And I cleaned out the town.
I'm so annoyed with myself. Prior to this mess my latest save is on first entering the pass. Now I have to go redo all those boring orcs if I can't find the FB scroll.
I don't want to have to go through the whole chapter without fireball. I'm playing this game twice the first time through. I keep making major errors, like getting Akil killed, and having to redo.

If you canīt find fire ball scrolls you have live without them or insert one. But I wonder what for you need the fireball spell in chapter 2. Nobody told you to hunt Orcs.

It's better to wait till later on before going to hunt orcs, You're still to weak to have a real chance against them.  |

I completely agree with Gorath and EDV - hunting orcs will be a nice pastime in chapter 4, but in chapter 2 I'd consider it all too risky. 
But if you really want to forge yourself a fireball-rune, ask one of the paladins in the fortress in the VoM (one of them sells scrolls).
There also is a scroll behind the shrine near one of the mines you'll have to visit. Hm, I don't remeber if it was a fireball-scroll, though.

I've started the "redo from Chapter 2" replay, but this time I've stashed away a fireball scroll for safe keeping. And I took the shortcut and bypassed the Orcs. Now I have the teleport rune. I wish I had one that teleported me back to the monastery.
However, I am level 14, so Orcs aren't really out of the question. But, I'm glad I don't have to do the Orcs now. I'll wait a bit and do them when I'm stronger. I thought I'd be meeting up with them all over this map.
Thanks for the hints again.

umm...what do you mean don't kill orcs...KILL ALL OF THEM !! I mean that's the point isn't it...chapter 2 or chapter 4...doesn't matter...  but I say the sooner they're dead the better !!

Actually, if you kill all the Orcs in Chapter 2, many of them will replenish in Chapter 4.

Great. I'll kill them all in chapter 2 and then again in chapter 4. More Exp for me. More LP. I just killed a lot of them with flame arrow. That got me to level up and get fire ball. The rest should be cake.
I want to be supermage by the end of this game:)
