Where to get good weapons?

Anyone know where to get awesome weapons early on in the game? I know about the bone bow and orc hammer.

But what about sword or club... say for someone who's only 20str, only 30str and only 40str. Any free good swords lying around?

There's an old two-hander in a chest close to Stone if I remember that right.

Its a rusty two hander and is quite good early in the game because it requires only a little strength. You can always try taking weapons of people if you not against a little harmless killing. Most of the guys early in the game will be too strong for your attacks with a sword of axe but they have little armour against a bow.

I find I always end up with a Stone Crusher. It's pretty good damage and low str. But if I'm trained to level 2 in single handed... should I choose single handed over double (untrained) even if the damage is slightly higher for double?

Well it depends on how much more damage the two hander has but mostly you should stick with the one hander unless you can't damage your enemy with it. Then switch to the two hander.

40 in strength?

I usually go and beat down Silla in the bar in the NC. When I gto his axe i try to beat down Lares (really hard in the beginning.)

You may have to save and load much.

I just wish there was a way to get the uriziel right at the start... only 30str and 90 damage! Wooohooo!

I tend to end up with Bow a lot... seems to be more effective than melee at the beginning.
