I can't seem to be able to store any magic spells. I can do the ctrl-rune signs-cast. but can't do ctrl-rune signs-shift to save the spells.
Is noble knight Merz able to help damsel in distress?? |

Hi! 
Make sure you're doing things in this order.
1)Hold CTRL
2)Hold SHIFT
3)Cast the runes
4)Let go. 
5)Press the desired number when you want to cast it.

OK. Thanks for your reply. Guess I must be useless cause I still can't store the damn spells.
Just spent nearly an hour fiddling with them runes. I can cast some really good spells but I don't think I'm meant to store them.
Does it matter which game edition you have??? Mine's the patch up-dated one. |

Well, quite a few people have experienced problems with patch 1.16. I, myself, have patch 1.15, and havn't experienced any major problems as of yet.  |

I hold control, then cast the runes, then while still holding the control down, I push shift, then let go. It saves. I hope that helps.

That's your problem! You have to hold down "ctrl" AND "shift" at the same time. Then cast the spell and let go.
Exactly as you cast spells but you have the "shift" button to use with the "ctrl." You don't hit "shift" after. Make sure it's pressed at the same time as "ctrl."
I hope that makes sense.

Yay I've managed to store spells !!! Thanks to everyone who replied to my plea. I don't get much time to play the game or browse the forums so thanks again |
