>Gothic 3 will have adjustable difficulty and proven controls inspired by action-adventure games like Splinter Cell.<

SplinterCell's controls were CRAP.

>Apart from the usual "more of everything" there´s another point I would like to mention. Character development will still be like it used to be, but this time skills don´t scale in percent.<

You mean ... JUST LIKE GOTHIC 1?!

he goes on to say:

Instead of raising a skill a few percent you buy a specific bonus, for example a certain combo attack.

i can't remember that in Gothic 1? or have i got a very bad memory?!

Also, i've seent his screen before:

but it looked like this:

Firstly why are they exactly the same except for lighting etc.?

and why is the sky so crappy in the latter?!

I just wanted to mention that "scale in percent" isn't something the Gothic-series had forever. It's just in Gothic 2.
BTW, I'm very pleased they change it again.

Are you talking about in the add-on where you ended up spending about 50 LP for just 5 mana?

If so, i didn't like it either it basically forced you to become a battle mage because it got to the point where increasing your magic skills had no benefit so you just put it in strength and get a kick ass sword!
