Dungeon Siege 2: Demo Available For Download @ Gamershell

It's here, it's hot, and - at a 1.4GB download - it's available...the Dungeon Siege 2 demo is finally available for download - so far, all I have found it , other than from FilePlanet and it's cumbersome system, from is Gamershell, but I'm sure it will be available for download elsewhere.

Woot, this is great news

For anyone who is going to buy the full game when its out, there's something you should be looking forward to, its a complete modification of the game done by me and a team. Expect the best, not the worse.

Same here, but according to Tiberius, it should be released prior to Christmas this year. I can hardly wait!!

Man this stinks

For all the limitations with the original Dungeon Siege, it was at least fun to play for a while, even though the heavy automation got old after a while. But if this demo is representative of the full Dungeon Siege 2, this just isn't fun at all. Plus the graphics look several years old, the colors are weird looking, and the camera annoyance with being unable to tilt to an appropriate angle to see what's going on around you is inexecusable in an engine in a 2005 game.

The demo build of the game is different from the full version build. This makes the files incompatible. The DS2 game won't recognize the demo's files because the format is different.
