From the 'Game names you thought you'd never see' department comes news that Rebelmind's 'Space Hack' has been renamed to 'Maximum XV Abraham Strong: Space Mercenary' under new publisher, Excalibur. Head over to Worthplaying for the details and some new screens.

I can almost imagine myself at a gameshop buying that thing. Hi, do you have Maximum fifteen... wait or was it fifteenth? Arnold... ah, no, Abraham Strong *takes deep breath* : Space Mercenary?

Game title

That's one heck of a tongue-twister! Even shortened to M15ASSM, sounds more like some kind of military hardware than a computer game, what was so wrong with "Space Hack" anyways? Or if they were worried over the "hack" bit, wouldn't just "Space Mercenaries" have sufficed??

Oh well, hope the marketing company have cashed the cheque already, caz' the publishers might (one could wish) come to realise what they've done and want to retract.

Did anyone check out the demo? The comic book name fits the game. Graphics and NPC's all look like an animated comic.
