Anyone know if theres an online manual for the game?
I lost mine, and now am confused as hell to some of the mechanics in the game. |

How about being honest and actually buying the game? Oh sorry, you lost the manual then presumably forgot everything you'd previous read in it... |

Oh hey guys, I lost my cd, can you send me a copy of yours or tell me where I can download the game? *wink wink*

"There always is one holier than other."
And would you say that if your lover/parents/siblings/friends expressed disgust over a friendly local merchant whom everybody likes being robbed? In what way does that kind of thing differ from stealing the software of a developer, whose work you like?
There's nothing "holier than thou" about wanting to punch in the heads of software pirates. They steal from people who have put years into making useful products (in this case, a great game), cutting into the profits those developers have ever right to expect. Or did you think a given developer could take a loss from piracy, chuckle, and start producing yet more products?
Now we'll probably hear arguments that pirates barely scratch the developer's income. But software piracy is so bad that it's actually a major sticking point in trade agreements between the US various SouthEast Asian nations. Piracy is endemic, and it hurts. Smaller companies can't bear the brunt of the loss as easily as, say, Microsoft.
I don't know about you, but I intend to buy games I play and the apps I use. I'm happy to support those businesses I want to see around a good long time--and that ain't holier than thou. That's just plain commonsense. |
