Training strength

I'm a 28 lvl mage (Chapter 4. Killed 3 dragons so far) . I have a problem, that i can't find anybody who could train my strength. It's currently 47 and i need to get it to 60 to be able to get a better 1 handed weapon . I have searched from onar's farm, the city and the castle, but nobody seems to be able to train that far or they just train mercenaries.

Well, That is a little problem, As far as i remember, There is a someone in the castle that can traun your str up to 60 for 200 GP... But if you wait till a higher chapter he wont be able to train you anymore, And, The sheep guy in the monestry can train you if you fufil his wish...
I think the paladins can teach you...
sorry i havent got gothic 2 on my computer for over 3 months
OH WAIT!! You can alsow brew Str Potions!
Beside, Why do you need more str as a mage? Being a Warriormage isnt the best thing, You are not a very good mage nor warrior..
Train your mana!

There is a better way for a mage to increase one's strenght.Have you thought learning alchemy and then the recipe for permanent strenght potion?First you have to learn 3 regular potions either mana or health to be able to learn permanent potions.

there are 3 alchemy trainers in the game.

1.The mage in the monestary downstairs(sorry don't remember his name). His knowledge can help you to learn speed potions, all 4 health potions, 3 basic manapotions and something very special later in the game .Also he can brew potions for you, but not the permanent ones.

2.constantino the alchemist in the khorinis. From him you can learn Strenght potion.healing potions, dex potion(?) and lesser speedpotion?

3.Herb witch in the forrest. She can teach ALL 4 different manapotions permanent manapotion included(must for a mage).Dex potion and first 2 health potions.

Also some rings and amulets can raise your strenght.
