Well i think it must ne a bug
I go to a merchant and try to sell things. I do the click+lest arrow trick the item goes to the middle list and presss enter to sell , say accept and .... i get nothing. Should not i get ore or something in my inventory?
Also where ecxactly can you see how much money you have? |

You have to drag the stuff you want to exchange into the middle column. So far it's okay. Then you must leaf through the trader's inventory and pick something you want for it, for example, the value of what you want to sell in ore, and drag this into the middle column as well! Then you press enter. The trader won't offer anything, you have to choose which of his wares you want in exchange for your wares. If you offer something to him but don't pick some of his wares in exchange he'll think you'll give him your stuff for free...
Your ore is displayed in your inventory where the rest category is, i.e., the 'other' stuff which is not weapons, armor, magic etc.

Take a look at the numbers on the top. The merchant only accepts the trade when the number on the right is greater than/equal to the number on the left.

right, it's like a barter... obviously the merchant never lose!
