Aha, that,s why I didn't understand, I did remember it all wrong from WC 2002, I was convinced that the Germans left very early in WC2002 but it must have been France or another team I have had in my rememberance. I'm getting to old for this s...! _________________ Moderator on RPGdot.com Forum.

It's the fame... It got right up to his head... I'm sure he'll be better in his next games... (I mean in another league...) I think Portugal played better this game... It was one the longest games I have ever seen It had everything in it (beside a fight ) |

Yeah, but who would have bet that Greece would play the semi-final. _________________ Moderator and Council Magician of the RPGDot Shadows

Just saw Otto on tv. He was levitating above his chair.
He was responsible for more than one miracle in the past, but this tournament result is the biggest. How is it possible that a 3rd league team like Greece (2001), or better a collection of egoistic individuals with limited football capabilities, can become highly disciplined, work with and for each other and reach the semifinals in such a strong tournament? Even more so if the coach, the biggest motivator in German soccer, doesn´t speak Greek. How can he explain his patented 'controlled offense', convince them that their chance will come and make them believe in it if he needs a translator? _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Well, the greeks may not have the best players, but Rehagel made a team of them and in this way they defeated the lazy teams of Portugal and France. _________________ Fear is a dangerous thing: fear leads to hate and hate leads to suffering - Yoda

I think you mean Spain and France. Portugal defeated England in an undisputable match. There was NOTHING wrong with the ref's decissions. I saw the moment again and you cleary see an attackers fault on the goallie. The goalkeeper may not be touched almost by an attacker in the small "square". _________________ Moderator and Council Magician of the RPGDot Shadows
