Strange, but I found Cronos (dead) in that cave with minecrawlers in Act 3, when I finished the add-on! He also had a lot of scrolls and stuff on him... Very strange.. So I went back to Jharkendar to check what is this about but he was still there, alive.. huh, weird

once i found xadars and gorn in that cave .. and i remember thinking something about body snatchers .. .was there an evil gorn out there and a .. evil ? xadars .. or more evil anyway

You can also find a note which says that this was a fake story and you shouldn't elieve anything you hear.

The "corpse cave" in Khorinis part is in the old mine (or whatever it was) under the sun circle. At one place there, you'll see somewhat darker boulder in the wall, with a torch on it - that's the room, rather, that boulder is blocking the access to that tiny room, to where the chars/bodies get moved in Khorinis.

In VoM.. If you played G1, then you perhaps remember the chasm and the cave, what Gorn wanted to check out before he assisted you in the monastery ruins. It's the same cave where you got the "Transform into meatbug" scrolls. Now, in G2, to that cave the corpses are moved.

Most of those "corpses" of course are not dead, simply the chars cannot change the areas and thus are respawned in new area, and in old area, their body is put out of the way. Some of them are dead story wise, like the smith and his assistant from CH2, their bodies are also in that cave. And naturally you'll find also in Khorinis cave the bodies of all the Water Mages, once you teleport to Jharkendar - they have respawned on that side and on old side, they have been "removed"
